Study Tips for Final Exams

Most high school students will be busy studying for final exams next month. Our recommendation for students is to study “smarter, not harder.”

Spending a few minutes learning key study skills can save you hundreds of hours of time over the long run.

Students studying for final exams have to review and consolidate several months of learning, and taking good notes is a critical part of that process.

One our favorite study skills is the Cornell Note Taking System, originally developed by Cornell education professor, Walter Pauk.

This note-taking system is also higher-level thinking tool—it helps students process and analyze what they’re learning, not just memorize facts.  To learn about the Cornell Note Taking System in just a few minutes, click here
