Backup Plans for International Students

As you may have heard, Harvard and MIT filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration a few days ago.

According to an article in The Chronicle of Higher Education: “Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on Wednesday filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration, seeking to pre-empt enforcement of a controversial rule that would bar international students from studying at colleges that opt for online-only instruction this fall.” 

If you're an international student interested in attending a university in the United States, it's important to be aware of changing laws and regulations in the US. Our advice is that you create backup plans and have enough safety schools on your list, in addition to online schools and US universities.
