Shadowing Physicians Virtually

Students who are interested in pursuing a career in medicine may be interested in virtual physician shadowing opportunities. This is especially important for high school students interested in applying to BS/MD programs (as well as undergraduate pre-med students).
Pre-Health Shadowing offers virtual shadowing opportunities, since in-person opportunities are not always easily available to students for a variety of reasons. The opportunities are free and students who pass a quiz receive a certificate of completion.
Programs like this are excellent, because students hear directly from a variety of doctors and health care professionals who are currently in the field.
Students who work with us can also do a practice interview with a physician who served on a medical school admissions committee.
And students who can talk intelligently about various aspects of medicine in a medical school essay or interview are the ones who will be taken seriously by medical school admissions committees.
